The process of works by applying insulating material to the external wall areas of a building which is then coated in a protective layer of render. There are several different kinds of external wall insulation material including EPS, Mineral Wool, XPS and Phenolic. Each material can have its own advantages for particular projects but EPS – Expanded Polystyrene insulation is most commonly used.
