Cavity Wall Insulation

We’re experienced in both domestic and commercial works across the country. Whether a job is big or small, our team knows how to get the work done properly using local labourers and suppliers.

Cavity wall insulation (CWI) is an affordable solution to improve the thermal efficiency on properties with cavity walls, which are commonly found on properties built after the 1920s. The gap between the bricks, known as the cavity is left empty on older properties which leads to a lot of heat loss from the wall areas of a property.

To solve this issue, holes are drilled to enable for insulating material to be pumped into the wall and fill the cavity leading to a greatly improved “u-value” of the walls, which means less heat is transferred through this element and lost from within.

Most commonly cavity walls are insulated using mineral wool that is blown into the cavity, however alternative products such as polystyrene beads or silver beads can also be used and can have even better thermal performance.

All installations come with a certified CIGA guarantee which covers the work done for up to 25 years. This gives you peace of mind and the knowledge the job has been done right by professionals.
